Hurricane Isaac workout

If you are stuck indoors for any reason, or just simply don’t have time to go to the gym. This workout is going to be perfect for you. Right now I am in Florida and Hurricane Isaac is on it’s way and already wreaking havoc on south Florida. If you have a scheduled rest day, AWESOME! If not you are going to be jonesing for a good workout… HERE IT IS:

Warm-up: 2 rounds/sets

  • Single leg balance with forward, side, and reverse movements

8-12 each direction and leg

  • Front Plank (toes and elbows)

As long as possible

  • Bodyweight squats

15-20 reps

  • Push ups

10-20 reps

Workout: Repeat as necessary 

  • Run in place

1 minute

  • Side planks

30 seconds per side

  • Burpees

10-20 reps

  • Superman (on floor/face-down/raise opposite arm and leg off ground)

15-20 reps

  • Plyos (Jump straight up LAND SOFT!!!)

10-15 reps

  • Seated balance (sit on butt and raise feet off the ground)

to failure
