Want to rid yourself of stress?

I know many of us are in the position where you are at your wits end, tired of everything, don’t know what to do with yourself, or just flat out bummed. When you fall victim to this kind of attitude there are many things you can choose to do that are just not productive or conducive to living a positive lifestyle.

On that same token there are many things that we can do to reduce and potentially eliminate your bad mood. Here are a few things that can really boost your mood!!!

  • Running/ endurance training

Have you ever heard of a runners’ high? This is associated with the euphoric sensation that is associated with running long distances or training. I don’t know about you, but no matter how physically exhausted I am from my workout, I am on cloud nine after I exercise.


  •  Mood enhancing supplements

In reference to the title given to this category I am talking about supplements. Many over-the-counter supplements are safe to take however many have side effects that you may not be happy with. The following are supplements that can potentially elevate your mood.

  1. Valerian
  2. Lavender
  3. St. Johns Wart
  4. Vitamin B
  5. Vitamin D

  • Meditation/Relaxation

  • Anti-oxidants 

The last method that I will include in today’s article is a way for your body to deal with the product of stress. Product of stress you may be thinking, what could he mean? I know the product is me shooting through the roof, feeling like I may explode, or taking my frustrations out on some innocent bystander. Actually what I am talking about is the production of Free Radicals. These are cells that cause a chain reaction of damage throughout the cells in your body.
