Tonight was one of those nights, I wanted to leave it all in the gym. My favorite way to do that is High Intensity Interval Training.
As I mentioned in my latest video the after effects of high intensity cardio stay with you for up to 18 hours.
After warming up for 5 minutes on the spin bike. I performed 5 one minute sprints with the gear as high as I could stand. I did that for a total of 10 sprints resting 1 minute in between sprints.
Resting for about 5 minutes, or as long as it took for me to change into my board shorts.
I hopped into the pool for 10 minutes swimming as fast as I could. No stopping in the time frame, just slowing my pace if need be.
To finish my workout I worked on my VO2 max. Doing pool sprints with my head in the water as long as possible. The length of the sprints were 50 yards. I pushed through three tough sprints.
